Mary admitted to MedBridge at ManorCare for comprehensive skilled nursing and intensive therapy following a fall.
"I fell on the ice and when I hit the ground I heard the break. I had to have surgery on my hip because of the break. I came to MedBridge at ManorCare Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I was nervous and upset at first, but by the end of the week the therapist had me moving better with less pain. the nursing care is very good and the kitchen is willing to work with you on your likes and dislikes.
The therapists are very professional; but they are also really friendly and caring. They all work together like a big family. They know your restrictions and work with you to help you reach your highest level of independence. They actually made going to therapy fun so I was not anxious to go!
I know ManorCare has gotten me further than I could ever believe I would get in five weeks and I also feel like I made many more friends and will really miss seeing them." - Mary
