Words of Appreciation

ManorCare Health Services Wilmington

Every day, our centers and hospice and home care agencies receive thanks for the care they have provided to a patient or someone’s loved one.  Many say they don't have the words to describe their appreciation and simply say "Thanks."  Below are comments from a former patient at ManorCare Health Services in Wilmington, Delaware in appreciation of the care provided to her.

The ManorCare rehab is by far the best I've been at.  The therapist and nurses and CNAs were excellent.  The food was always hot when served and very well prepared.  My nurse on 3 to 11, Francis, always came and made sure I had my pain medication on time and all my meds.  He always had a smile and a kind word.  All the nurses should get a special reward because they all treated you like a person and not just another patient.  That helps a lot in your recovery.  Also, the CNAs, especially Finna, always were very kind and had a very nice word to say.  She always had a smile.  Overall, the facility was the best, and I would recommend others to go there.  Christina, my therapist, was very kind and she never rushed; she took her time with me.  She always encouraged me to do better and with her help I did.
