Words of Appreciation
ManorCare Health Services New Providence
Every day, our centers and hospice and home care agencies receive thanks for the care they have provided to a patient or someone’s loved one. Many say they don't have the words to describe their appreciation and simply say "Thanks." Below is a letter from the son of a patient at ManorCare Health Services in New Providence, New Jersey in appreciation of the care provided to his mother.
I'd like to thank you and your organization for doing a phenomenal job in taking care of my mother, Lakshmi, for the last few weeks. Since she is getting discharged tomorrow after many weeks of stay, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all personally.
I feel extremely happy with the way your staff treated her with respect, warmth and compassion. After being in the hospital for close to two months, she needed all the strength and nourishment to lead a normal life. Your staff made it possible with their professionalism and kindness.
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Shirleen and [Shirley, Administrator] for running the facility very well. Your attention to detail and willingness to oblige our requests went beyond our expectations. Next, I'd like to thank Maria, who always took time to chat and find out more about my mom in order to give her better care. Nana, Clarice and Marge were kind, warm and treated my mother with utmost respect and care. All the aides and support staff in the west wing did an excellent job of taking care of my mother.
I wish you and everyone at ManorCare the very best and will recommend you strongly for anyone planning to use your facility for rehab in the future.
